Description
When I saw my friend’s photo of this scene of a Florida sunrise, I fell in love and I knew I had to paint it. I’ve been studying the Florida Highwaymen paintings, and I wanted to try a fire sky with a palette knife. The sky is the “loud conversation” for sure, but being a cyclist myself, that bicycle just made the scene for me!
This original acrylic impasto painting is on an 18″ tall x 24″ wide gallery-wrapped canvas that is 1.5″ thick. Like all gallery-wrapped canvases, it can be framed, but the sides are all painted with a continuation of the scene so it looks great on the wall without a frame (which means no added costs for you). It’s wired and ready to hang on your wall.
