I found a photo on my friend Jerry’s page that really caught my eye so I decided to paint it for him. It was only after I painted it that he told me it was taken in his own backyard! He chose the name as a play on Monet’s “Impression, Soleil Levant.” Do you have a favorite photo you would like to be made into a memorable painting?
