Description
This barred owl was looking down at me when I took his picture as if to say, Whoooo? are you looking at? I originally painted him “flat” with a brush, but later I decided to use a palette knife to really bring him to life with thick paint.
This original acrylic impasto painting is on a 16” wide x 20” high gallery-wrapped canvas that is 1.5” thick. Like all gallery-wrapped canvases, it can be framed, but the sides are all painted with a continuation of the scene, so it looks great on the wall without a frame (which means no added costs for you). It’s wired and ready to hang on your wall.
