The Loggerhead was painted from a photograph taken by my friend Marketa when we were scuba diving. It was just so majestic, and yet somehow totally…well…cute! I couldn’t wait to get home to paint it.
This original acrylic impasto painting is on a 12” high x 24” wide gallery-wrapped canvas that is 1.5” thick. Like all gallery-wrapped canvases, it can be framed, but the sides are all painted with a continuation of the scene, so it looks great on the wall without a frame (which means no added costs for you). It’s wired and ready to hang on your wall.
