Description
When looking for a mate, male flamingos stretch their necks and try to stand out from the crowd as if they are looking down on all the other males. When I saw this fellow showing off at Jungle Island, I couldn’t wait to get home and paint him.
This acrylic impasto is painted on a 16” wide x 40” high gallery-wrapped canvas. You can, but there is no need to frame this since I continued painting the scene around all the edges. It is wired and ready for hanging.
